Robotic Welder OperatorJob DescriptionAs a Robotic Welder Operator, you will be responsible for operating TIG robotic welding machines, ensuring the loading of fixtures and parts, and inspecting finished welds to maintain adherence to tolerance specifications. This role involves working primarily with thin sheet metal.ResponsibilitiesOperate TIG robotic welding machines.Load fixtures and parts into the robotic welder.Inspect finished welds to ensure they are within specified tolerances.Handle and work with thin sheet metal components.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of experience as a robotic welder operator.Proficiency in robotic welding and TIG techniques.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Strong attention to detail.Familiarity with welding, spot welding, and blueprint reading.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with robotic welding programming is a plus.Why Work Here?The company offers a modern, climate-controlled facility with opportunities for skill development across various metal fabrication equipment, fostering a well-rounded skill set. The 63,000 square foot plant is clean, climate-controlled, and equipped with the latest fabrication and welding technology. Employees have the opportunity to learn diverse fabrication skills, enhancing career growth and versatility.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Charles, Illinois.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
