The ideal candidate will possess expertise in GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging systems. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing diagnostic quality procedures safely and efficiently, adhering to guidelines provided by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures in outpatient settings.- Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.- Prepare and administer contrast media as required for various imaging studies.- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent patient care.- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and standards.- Stay current with advancements in technology and imaging techniques. Qualifications: - Graduate from an approved imaging technology program.- Current licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography (pending status acceptable).- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.- Licensure in CT by the OBMI or registration in CT by the ARRT is required.- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 90 days of hire.- Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.- A minimum of 1 year of outpatient imaging and IV skills is required.- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Experience Requirement: - Preferred experience in various specialties of CT imaging, including but not limited to: - Abdomen, chest, and pelvis imaging (with and without contrast). - 3D rendering techniques (maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering). - Biopsies and vascular studies, including coronary CTA and myelography.
