SUMMARY Under the supervision of a member of the Precision and Performance Team, this position handles client billing for our Chicago office, prepares mid and month-end reports, maintains and reconciles accounts, and provides general accounting support. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of multitasking, detail-oriented, committed to accuracy, and able to interact with all levels of personnel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Meet weekly with account staff to discuss job status - Review weekly office reports and analyze trends - Prepare client service billing invoices for the Chicago office - Recognize revenue using the percentage of completion methodology - Reconcile deferred revenue monthly - Conduct mid-month job status reviews - Complete month-end reviews of open jobs - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of tasks - Anticipate needs and facilitate work - Maintain cooperative relationships with internal teams The candidate must have reconciliation experience, be detail-oriented, and skilled at multitasking. As the Billing Specialist, you will be the main contact for billing questions from account executives and should communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - 3–5 years of related accounting experience - Proficiency in reading, writing, and presenting business information - Ability to apply understanding of revenue recognition and deferred revenue calculations - High proficiency in Excel - Reconciliation, analytical, and billing experience required - Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports - General journal and ledger experience - Strong communication skills for building relationships and effective communication at all levels Additional Information
