Job Description: Provide technical leadership, systems engineering support, and system administration for enterprise performance monitoring systems. Lead a team of system administrators maintaining COTS performance measurement solutions and their infrastructure. Install, harden, and maintain operating systems, software, and applications; monitor performance; troubleshoot alerts; analyze system failures; lead recovery efforts; ensure file system integrity and hardware/software configuration. Administer and support operating systems, applications, and hardware related to Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL); perform advanced Active Directory maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting. Required Skills: Over 10 years of experience with Windows Servers, RHEL, Microsoft SQL, and IIS web servers in a DoD environment. Experience with server, network, and storage virtualization using VMware. Ability to review security policies and lead system configuration implementation. Experience designing, planning, and executing system upgrades. Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and interface directly with customers. Prior experience directing daily activities of system administrators. Highly organized and enthusiastic individual. Advanced Windows system administration in a DoD environment. Advanced Active Directory Group Policy Management and related tasks. Experience with AD Sites and Services and AD Users and Computers in a DoD environment. Strong RHEL administration experience in a DoD environment. Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking. Experience maintaining system readiness through DISA STIGs and other DoD policies. Experience with RMF and/or DIACAP accreditation processes. Experience with SAN design and administration. Desired Skills: MS-SQL and Oracle database development and administration skills. Experience with System Performance Measurement and Capacity Planning. Backup and Recovery Administration. Previous experience with Defense Health Agency or Military Health System. Education/Certifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
