Polysomnographic TechnologistRutland-VT-05701-United StatesUnder general supervision of Department Leadership including Lead RPSGT the Registered Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist is responsible for scoring sleep studies and operation of the daily clinic activities such as home sleep studies, overnight oximetry’s, MSLT day studies, mask fittings, pressure change, etc. The technologist must have a thorough understanding of all of monitored parameters which are utilized in the computer scoring and preparation of polysomnographic reports. Ability to institute life saving measures is required. Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Associates Degree in the Health Sciences preferred.Minimum Work Experience3- 5 years prior experience employed as a registered Polysomnographic Sleep TechnologistExperience at a AASM Accredited Sleep Center and Clinic preferredRequired Licenses/CertificationsRPSGT or RRT-SDSCCSH preferred or planned to acquire within 2 yearsMaintains continuing education units as required by the BRPTBLS Certification through American Heart Association.Required Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesKnowledge of all Polysomnography equipment.Knowledge of infection control.Demonstrated safe, knowledgeable practice skills at all times based on theory and consistent with Policies and Procedures.Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal.Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.Pay Range: $24.98 - $36.93#PM24PI6dfc41385ec5-35196-36190229
