Overview
On the TikTok Search Team, you will have the opportunity to develop and apply cutting edge machine learning technologies in real-time large-scale systems that serve billions of search requests daily. Projects use advanced NLP and multi-modal models to improve the search experience for hundreds of millions of users globally. Participate in the improvement of the search core algorithm with possible directions including content understanding/matching, user behavior modeling, and video understanding to improve relevance and personalization of search results. Qualifications
Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment. Proficient coding skills and strong algorithm & data structure foundation. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Experience in one or more of: NLP, Ranking, Ads, search engine, recommender system, distributed systems, and machine learning. Compensation
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118,657 - $168,150 annually. Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary by employment type and location. Benefits typically include medical, dental, and vision insurance from day one, a 401(k) with company match, parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and paid time off (holidays, sick days, and personal time).
