Position Description Logisticians are expected to assist with all logistics aspects within the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) portfolio both in garrison and in field environments. This position is a combination of both "in-the-office" and "in-the-field" support. The role requires flexibility to support a fast-paced program with continually evolving requirements, including technical, analytical, and operational functions. Examples of expected support activities range from participation and contribution during teleconferences to setting up and operating test-sites in remote military ranges across the continental United States (CONUS). Additional activities may include coordination, packaging, movement, and tracking of corporate assets and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). The position may also involve supporting reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) data collection, configuration management (CM), and security functions.

Responsibilities •Perform readiness and reliability data collection using life cycle logistics information systems, including but not limited to: Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), Web Federal Logistics Information System, Technical Data Management (TDM) Catalyst, and Logistics - Data & Analytics Reporting Tool. •Conduct timely analysis of product support design parameters (e.g., Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Durability; Mean Time Between Operational Mission Failure (MTBOMF), Operational Availability (Ao), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)). •Perform Limited Technical Inspections and manage inbound/outbound equipment shipments, including internal management and accounting of items. •Serve as SME/member of new equipment fielding and training teams. •Perform maintenance actions including application of modifications to weapon systems, trend analysis, troubleshooting, and recommendations for sustainment changes. •Provide SME support during test and evaluations, delivering key input to operation, maintenance, and sustainment of weapon systems. •Lead and participate in technical manual verifications by comparing manuals to hardware, documenting inaccuracies, and recording corrections. •Draft and edit disposal and demilitarization plans and prepare Marine Corps Stock Lists for disposition of equipment. •Track and manage National Stock Number (NSN) data maintenance actions regarding lifecycle sustainment of parts and components. •Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Waiver (RFW), and Requests for Deviation (RFDs), providing recommendations in coordination with engineers. •Provide written and oral communications to all levels of management and leadership. •Prepare, validate, and update maintenance plans over equipment life cycles; support/participate in the Depot Level Source of Repair (DLSOR) process. •Serve on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in government design reviews, directing all aspects of hardware and software design for supportability. •Provide logistics meeting support during test and demonstration planning. •Support test events including resource identification, planning, delivery, site setup, daily operation, and retrograde. •Coordinate with security personnel to support shipping, receiving, and accountability of assets. •Manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Property (GFP). •Must be able to lift at least fifty pounds and work in extreme weather conditions (heat more than 95 degrees).

Education and Experience •Bachelors Degree in Supply Management or related field. (Desired) •High School Diploma (Required) •This position requires at least 3+ years' experience in logistics or a directly related field.

Certifications ACQ 1010 - Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management (*required* within 6-months after hire) LOG 1000 - Life Cycle Logistics Fundamentals (*required* within 6-months after hire) LOG 102 - Fundamentals of System Sustainment Management (desired) LOG 103 - Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) (desired) CLL 011 - Performance Based Logistics (PBL) (desired) * Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook

Travel Requirements CONUS & OCONUS Travel for this effort is estimated to be 50%-60% of total support annually. Locations may include: •Yuma, AZ and surrounding area •NSWC Crane, IN and surrounding areas •Quantico, VA and surrounding areas •Camp Pendleton, CA •White Sand Missile Range, NM •Kaneohe Bay, HI •Twentynine Palms, CA •Charleston, SC •Cherry Point, NC •Iwakuni, Japan
