General Clerk II

to provide onsite

records management support

in Silver Spring, MD. This role is critical to maintaining accurate records, processing documents, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

The

General Clerk II

will support day-to-day operations in records management, including data entry, document routing, inventory, quality control, scanning/imaging, and uploading files to the

Centralized Electronic Repository (CER). Responsibilities Perform accurate data entry into records management systems and databases. Manage document routing and distribution to appropriate stakeholders. Conduct inventory tracking and reconciliation of records and files. Carry out quality control (QC) reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. Support the secure destruction of records in accordance with policy and retention schedules. Operate scanning and imaging equipment to digitize records for electronic storage. Upload and index files into the Centralized Electronic Repository (CER) or other designated systems. Assist with general records management tasks, ensuring proper handling, organization, and accessibility of records. Qualifications Prior experience in clerical, administrative, or records management roles preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
