Description:The role of the IT Project Manager Practitioner is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to schedule and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager is responsible for defining the projects objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle. This individual provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team(s) to ensure timely and effective project execution. Also, he/she could participate in employee development, coaching and ongoing performance management. The project manager plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas.
