6-12 months Top Skills: 1-3 years of recent, hands-on experience in custom EDI claims transactions development (excluding candidates who have used third-party tools for EDI integration) Strong .NET development skills (software programming and analysis) Multiple years of experience in the Healthcare industry X12 Healthcare EDI transaction sets NICE TO HAVE Full Job Description Knowledge of: HIPAA regulations and healthcare administration functions, including claims processing, eligibility verification, and preauthorization Relational databases, SQL, and database access interfaces (ODBC, JDBC, ADO, ADO.NET) Software testing procedures Network and software architecture Build automation Version control software Skills: Advanced experience in database-related development (complex SQL queries and stored procedures) Experience developing applications that consume web services Intermediate XML reading and writing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail Excellent communication skills Experience with continuous integration, automated build, and deployment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) Experience with X12 Healthcare EDI transaction sets Experience with transactional and real-time systems Knowledge of MQ technologies Additional Information
