Applications Developer Job Summary: The Sr. Software Development Engineer will have extensive experience in designing, coding, and delivering multi-tier SaaS products with web-based, plugin-based, and mobile-based clients using C#/.NET/WPF/WCF/SQL Server technologies. Experience building and leveraging REST-based Web Services is required. Building modules and testing for 24/7 stability, performance, scalability, and localization is essential. Ability to design, build, and test high-quality complex modules and their unit test harnesses is necessary. Diagnosing and resolving complex issues and utilizing continuous build and automated testing frameworks are key skills. Experience delivering high-quality products on schedule within Agile teams following agile methodologies is expected. This role involves overseeing technology implementation on projects and mentoring less-experienced staff. Collaborating with internal customers and cross-departmental teams is part of the responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in software development experience. At least 5 years of programming experience with Web, Windows .NET framework, and C#, including 2+ years in a senior role. 3+ years experience with WPF applications, MVC, C#, Web API, JSON, REST, and SQL Server. 2+ years developing customer-facing applications. Proficient in object-oriented design and development best practices. Experience with MS SQL database design, T-SQL, and stored procedures. Experience working on Agile teams using SCRUM. Understanding of industry tools and their impact on project goals. Ability to generate innovative solutions to complex problems. Technical resource at the Agile team level. Responsible for technical design, development, and implementation of complex components. Design and build robust REST Web Services with versioning. Implement principles of 24/7 stability, performance, scalability, and localization. Develop and test high-quality frameworks and unit test harnesses, focusing on TDD. Use continuous integration and automated testing frameworks. Leadership and Communication: Communicate professionally with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Actively listen and convey strategies effectively. Produce clear technical and business documentation. Conduct presentations and mentor less-experienced staff.
