The Application Solutions Engineer / LDAP Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, modifying, and supporting directory data stores and access management solutions. Responsibilities: Review project plans, identify gaps, and define required tasks. Evaluate proposed solution changes, approve or recommend modifications based on business needs. Research software, hardware, and monitoring tools; recommend implementations. Create analysis, project plans, and documentation. Identify technical and procedural concerns and propose solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure SLA compliance and serve as Project Lead on multiple project phases. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with LDAP/Sun Java Directory v6.x; experience with IBM Tivoli Directory v6.x and/or CA SiteMinder v12.x is a plus. Experience installing, configuring, and supporting LDAP/Sun Java Directory Server or similar. 3+ years in Unix/Linux environments. 3+ years scripting experience (Perl, shell, etc.). Experience with multi-tiered applications, multi-master replication, supporting multi-site topologies, and integrating third-party products in large directory infrastructures. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. ADP or equivalent certification (must be obtained within 6 months). US citizenship required for certification. Security certifications such as CISSP preferred.
