Lead Information Security Architect / Engineer

The Lead Information Security Engineer will design and implement processes to analyze technology solutions for threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities affecting the control environment. The role requires a subject matter expert (SME) with strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory obligations. This role demands the ability to identify, document, and recommend security safeguards in complex environments, incorporating layered security across network, application, and data layers. The ideal candidate is positive, adaptable, pragmatic, and capable of communicating technical and managerial information clearly. Responsibilities:

Design and implement processes to analyze technology solutions for security threats and vulnerabilities. Review and approve security configuration checklists for various platforms and solutions. Provide internal security consulting and guidance to engineering teams. Identify, document, and recommend layered security safeguards across all infrastructure layers. Required Experience:

5+ years in information security domains such as access management, cryptography, DLP, cloud, mobile, endpoint security, incident response, malware analysis, network security, or application security. 5+ years analyzing technology designs using frameworks like DREAD, SSE-CMM, STRIDE, or similar. 5+ years knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001, NIST SP, and others. 5+ years understanding of enterprise security architectures, challenges, and solutions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 8+ years of equivalent experience. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, CGEIT, CRISC, CEH, or similar are highly preferred.
