The Scaled Abuse Operations team protects the client ecosystem by combating spam, fraud, and abuse within the Play Store's application ecosystem. The team ensures policy compliance for developers, advertisers, publishers, and users, partnering with Engineering to tackle large-scale fraud networks. Data Analysts in this team focus on scaling abuse operations through signal analysis and automation. They are passionate about client technologies and supporting our growing mobile developer and user community. They investigate large data sets to identify abusive patterns and strive to keep the Play Store free from spammers, driving process improvements to achieve an abuse-free environment. Responsibilities Conduct investigations to identify and catch fraudsters, enforce product policies, analyze spam patterns, and uncover vulnerabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Sales, and Legal to automate processes, update policies, and improve product security and user experience. Improve operational workflows through process enhancements and automation opportunities. Minimum Qualifications BA/BS degree or 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. Experience in process optimization, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MySQL. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of relevant experience, especially in data analysis and workflow optimization. Experience with Google's developer platforms (Cloud Platform, Chrome Web Store, etc.). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
