Job Description
Task Description:
The key objective is to develop a unified system integrated into the IRSs modernized infrastructure to detect fraudulent returns and refund fraud schemes. This system aims to ensure the timely issuance of refunds and credits legally owed to filers, while preventing the issuance of refunds and credits that are not legally due. Duties
The Database Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, debugging, and implementing code for this system. Specific duties include: Supporting PL/SQL development in a Greenplum environment Providing application and user support and troubleshooting Understanding and adhering to development standards and SDLC to ensure consistency Collaborating with client SMEs and other vendor teams
Qualifications Required Skills:
Extensive hands-on experience as a PL/SQL database developer with complex development and testing skills Experience designing databases and creating entity-relationship diagrams Production support experience Minimum of 3+ years in logical/physical data design Database performance monitoring and tuning expertise Experience developing and maintaining Informatica mappings, workflows, and processes Knowledge of Data Warehouse, Oracle, Linux, AIX Strong attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience with the IRS and/or Department of the Treasury Ability to understand unclear customer requirements and translate them into technical tasks
