Job Description Job Title: PS-Systems Analyst II Location: Southfield, MI Duration: 1+ year contract Engagement Description Support Health Plan Business by enhancing HEDIS quality measures through Data Improvement initiatives. Responsible for planning, developing, testing, and implementing IT system solutions to improve business efficiency and support strategic goals. Translate business needs into technical specifications, analyze requirements, and design data architecture and ETL flows to support HEDIS data management, analytics, and reporting. Collaborate with functional analysts to develop scalable components and integrate vendor data feeds. Top 3 Required Skills/Experience 6+ years of data analysis experience in health plan quality improvement or managed care organizations. 5+ years of experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Access. 3+ years of experience in healthcare domains including Member, Provider, Claims, LAB & EMR. Required Skills/Experience Proficiency in writing complex queries using advanced PLSQL concepts and performance tuning. Strong understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and translating business requirements into them. Excellent analytical skills for data collection, organization, analysis, and communication. 5+ years of experience with complex SQL scripting. 3+ years of experience with HEDIS and CMS Stars Rating System & Specifications. Experience with data profiling and analyzing large datasets. Proficiency in Oracle PLSQL and SQL Server development, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers. Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools. Preferred Skills/Experience 3+ years working with analytical software such as SAS or Tableau. Experience with Medical Code sets like CPT, HCPCS, ICD10. Education/Certifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Healthcare IT, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
