Position Summary:

The

Business Development Manager (BDM)

is a hands-on role responsible for developing, managing, and growing revenue profitably within assigned accounts, products, and target application market segments. Additional responsibilities include developing new revenue streams at target customers and application segments. The BDM will identify, develop, and close new opportunities with OEMs, system integrators, and key market influencers.

This role reports to the VP of Sales and is an individual contributor position. The BDM will follow prescribed sales processes and is tasked with achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Primary Responsibilities:

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Develop and execute regional business plans focusing on target customers, products, and applications.

Coordinate with Application Engineers and demonstration resources to meet customer development goals.

Develop and grow the sales opportunity funnel to ensure revenue goals are met.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Travel:

Up to 40% within the territory, with additional travel as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

At least 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in selling highly engineered products or systems to OEMs, integrators, or the imaging market. Experience in system sales is a plus.

At least 5 years of experience developing new customers, markets, or regions.

Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales targets.

Required Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize quickly and focus on critical tasks.

Process-oriented, managing business through sales processes like funnel management, SF.com, and solution-based consultative selling.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
