Mainframe Developer

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 to support and enhance critical business applications. The role involves hands-on development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mainframe-based systems, batch processing, and database support. The candidate must have solid knowledge of legacy systems and the ability to work in Agile environments. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain JCL scripts for batch job scheduling and execution Write, test, and debug COBOL programs following coding standards and best practices Design, develop, and maintain DB2 databases for application data support Create and execute test plans to validate application functionality and ensure software quality Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical solution design Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to enhance system performance and reporting Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly Engage in daily standups and follow Agile development practices Required Skills:

8+ years of experience in mainframe application development and support Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS Hands-on experience with tools such as TCO, IBM DFSORT, Endevor, SD/SF, Savrs, NDM, and File Manager Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams Preferred Skills:

Experience with CA7, Easytrieve, MQ, and ServiceNow Background in the banking domain Experience with Hogan systems Certifications:
