Avid Practice , you are a pivotal member of our Managed IT and Internet Service Provider team, driving innovation and operational excellence across both Care and Professional Services. You will architect, develop, and optimize software solutions that enable proactive, efficient, and secure management of client environments. Your expertise in API integrations, web-based GUIs, generative AI, actionable AI, LLMs, and modern automation tools will empower our clients and internal teams to achieve seamless integration between hardware and software platforms.

You will collaborate closely with our team to design, implement, and support solutions tailored to business needs, leveraging your deep knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory standards. You are a proactive, creative, and customer-centric problem solver, committed to delivering robust, scalable, and high-quality results. Our initial project involves integrating various APIs to automate customer experience and network configurations. Nearly all of the systems have been designed with this outcome but we require someone with the requisite skills to complete these tasks. Our existing team has extensive experience with networking and infrastructure architecture and ongoing support so you will have full support from our team.

Core Responsibilities

API Integrations & Automation: Design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations between diverse hardware, software, and cloud platforms (e.g., network devices, monitoring tools, SaaS platforms). Implement and optimize RESTful, GraphQL, and vendor-specific APIs to automate provisioning, monitoring, and incident response. Develop middleware and connectors to enable seamless data exchange and workflow automation. Web GUI Development: Build intuitive, responsive, and secure web-based dashboards and management interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue). Integrate real-time data visualizations and actionable controls for IT operations, incident management, and client self-service. Generative & Actionable AI: Leverage generative AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini) to automate ticket triage, knowledge base creation, and client communications. Integrate actionable AI and LLMs to deliver predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent alerting for proactive IT management. Data Engineering & Integration: Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or custom scripts to aggregate and transform data from APIs, databases, and external sources. Implement best practices for data quality, security, and compliance. Proactive Management & Monitoring: Build integrations with monitoring and management platforms (e.g., RMM, SIEM, NMS) to enable automated remediation, alerting, and reporting. Develop scripts and tools for predictive maintenance and capacity planning. Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams to scope, design, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Document architecture, integration flows, and operational procedures to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

API Development & Integration: Proficiency in RESTful, GraphQL, and vendor-specific APIs. Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, JWT). Web Development: Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Experience with backend frameworks (Node.js, .NET Core, Python Flask/Django). AI & Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with generative AI/LLM platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face). Familiarity with actionable AI for IT operations (predictive analytics, anomaly detection). DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation. Cloud & Infrastructure: Working knowledge of Azure (VMs, Functions, Data Factory, Logic Apps). Familiarity with virtualization, networking, Active Directory, DNS, and server roles. Data Engineering: Proficiency in SQL Server, data modeling, and ETL processes. Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or similar tools for dashboarding and reporting. Security & Compliance: Understanding of IT security best practices, regulatory standards, and secure coding principles.
