Senior Shipping & Receiving Clerk
The Senior Shipping & Receiving Clerk works within the Logistics department which manages the flow of goods and other resources between the point of origin and the point of consumption to meet the requirements of our internal and external customers. Logistics involves the integration of information, transportation, inventory, warehousing, material handling, and packaging. The Senior Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, parts and supplies. May examine stock and distribute materials to inventory and/or departments. This position is 100% on-site at the St. Petersburg site. Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3 pm The Role
Adhere to all environmental, health and safety SOP's, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements. Receive incoming materials against purchase orders and/or work orders. Prepare paperwork, Bill of Ladings for shipment. Schedule truck deliveries. Misc. clerical duties as required filing, organization. May assist in other departments as required. Ensure warehouse is inspection ready always. Other duties as assigned. The Candidate
High School diploma or equivalent required. Beginning software application skills required. Data Entry detailed and accurate. Traffic experience in scheduling inbound and outbound required. Minimum of 7 years shipping/receiving experience. Vision requirements include ability to differentiate color (Pass the Ishihara Color Vision Screening) and obtain 20/30 acuity in both far and near vision with or without corrective lenses. For Catalent's in-house screening, the acceptable score is to identify at least 4 of 6 numbers in the circles. Individual will be working independently and will need to prioritize the workload and multi-task with little supervision.
