Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,714 per week in Salem, OR

Rotating weekday position.On Call: After department closes until open.Manager states on-call days would be about 7 a month, but on-call shifts are not very busyPOSITION PURPOSE: Performs Nuclear Medicine Procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.8:15-1845 Mon, Tues, Fri and 0700-1730 Thurs, please note that we would like to traveler take call/standby after hours. Bachelors or Associates degree preferred One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred Pending Nuclear Medicine with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license allowed Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA within 90 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class (offered at Salem Health) within 4 months of hire. Must be capable of operating state of the art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probe and computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and other technical supportive devices.
