Travel Surg Tech - $1,429 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Operating Room License: Current license as required Certifications: Certification in Surgical Technology preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of Operating Room experience - Ability to function in multiple service lines Description: This travel position is for a Surgical Technologist in the Pediatric Operating Room. The unit includes 8 operating rooms and a staff of 25. Staff consists of RN charge nurses, RNs, CSTs, and anesthesia providers. The hours of operation are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with a night shift on-call team available. The patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1. Equipment includes all types of surgical and rapid infusion technologies. The Electronic Medical Records system used is Meditech. Most commonly performed procedures include Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong teamwork skills. The unit has supportive service line leaders to enhance the work environment. New technology and equipment continue to enrich the team’s capabilities.
