About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Global Channel Partners to spearhead the growth and expansion of its global channel business. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive global channel strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and revenue targets. This includes defining ideal partner profiles, go-to-market motions, and channel enablement programs. The role also involves managing and growing existing strategic partnerships, as well as identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new partners to enhance the company's reach in various regions. The VP will be responsible for commercial and contract management, operational excellence, performance reporting, and program development and enablement. A key aspect of the role is team leadership, where the VP will hire and manage a team of channel leaders, providing mentorship and strategic direction to achieve ambitious goals.

The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have over 20 years' of experience in channel sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity. They must have a proven track record in building and scaling a successful global channel business, particularly in the SaaS or technology sector. Deep understanding of different channel models and partner ecosystems is essential, as is experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing partner relationships at a senior level. The role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. The candidate should be a dynamic, results-oriented individual who is committed to continuous learning, and is adept at fostering a culture of trust, autonomy, and collaboration.
