About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic leadership and financial stewardship across its multi-site healthcare organization. The CFO will be a key partner to the executive and clinic leaders, shaping the organizational strategy and financial plan. This role involves interpreting complex funding streams, leading financial planning and analysis, and ensuring the integrity of financial operations, including accounting, controls, and compliance with all relevant regulations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the revenue cycle, driving operational and technological improvements, and leading a high-performing team.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with an MBA preferred, and at least 8 years' of progressive financial accounting experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a healthcare or nonprofit setting. Deep knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and internal controls in a clinical or healthcare environment is essential. The role requires a proven track record in revenue cycle operations, particularly with Medicare, and experience in preparing and presenting financials at the Board level. Strong leadership skills, a systems-oriented approach, and a focus on developing teams and improving processes are also key competencies for this position. A CPA and/or healthcare finance certification is preferred.
