About the Role As VP of Engineering, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the full lifecycle of engineering — from concept through construction and operations. You’ll oversee design standards, implement modern tools and automation, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and on budget. What You’ll Do Lead and scale a high-performing team of electrical, civil, mechanical, and structural engineers Oversee engineering execution across PV and BESS projects from early development through operations Establish technical standards, QA/QC protocols, and design best practices Collaborate with development, construction, procurement, and O&M teams Drive innovation through AI tools, automation, and modern software platforms Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, ASCE, AISC, UL, and regulatory requirements Serve as the technical authority on complex engineering and design issues Develop engineering talent for the future What We’re Looking For 12+ years of progressive engineering experience (5+ in a senior leadership role) Background in utility-scale renewable energy, EPC, or infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of power systems, energy storage, and utility interconnection Proven experience leading geographically diverse engineering teams Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited); PE license Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and team-building skills Why Join Strata Clean Energy?
