.NET Software Engineer
Location: McLean or Chantilly, VA
The Software Engineer will design, develop, code, test, and debug complex new software products or make significant enhancements to existing software. The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform builder with extensive experience in developing scalable data platforms, including expertise in business intelligence, analytics, data science, and data products. They must possess strong technical skills in configuration management and big data technologies, with a proven ability to create robust, scalable solutions capable of managing large data sets. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment with minimal supervision and have a passion for continuous improvement and innovation. The primary focus of work for this position will be web development and front-end system design.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Over five years of hands-on software development experience in .NET.
Experience with modern programming languages such as .NET/C#, Java, Python, etc.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in web development (front end), including Angular, ASP.NET, or third-party libraries like Syncfusion, DevExpress, Kendo, or similar controls.
