Producer II
to join the Special Events Programming team in Washington, DC!
Your Role Accountabilities
This producer is responsible for producing compelling special events programming – from election coverage to town halls and debates to coverage of significant historical moments.
The producer must have a wide range of skills – a strong editorial sense, knowledge of iNews and various video editing platforms, a well-honed organizational sensibility, and a broad-based analytical foundation.
Must have the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage a wide variety of tasks at once.
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years producing with both field and control room experience.
This position requires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organization skills to bring it all together.
The position requires outstanding news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.

Compensation and Benefits In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Pay Range: $94,500.00 - $175,500.00 salary per year. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
