Amplity has partnered with one of our leading pharmaceutical clients for an exciting direct hire placement opportunity.
The Professional Sales Representative implements tactics defined by Marketing and Sales plans. They deliver balanced sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers with a defined frequency. The role covers a defined territory, using all approved marketing and selling materials, engaging with healthcare practitioners, and planning activities to ensure regular coverage according to a plan of action. Increased product sales result from effective efforts. Administration of territory information and compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements is essential. Participation in training, conference calls, and meetings is expected.
Responsibilities
Achieve all product sales performance goals for the assigned territory; distribute samples and record transactions in line with Company Policy and PDMA guidelines.
Develop comprehensive and accurate sales presentations using approved materials.
Maintain knowledge of promoted product disease states and indications.
Deliver sales presentations to current and prospective customers with frequency based on call goals.
Implement selling model and process principles, including DiSC when engaging with customers.
Complete pre- and post-call analyses to positively impact customer interactions.
Review and analyze sales data and manage developmental budget funds.
Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
Develop a daily call schedule to ensure efficient territory coverage.
Complete administrative reports and meet deadlines.
Safeguard company assets (e.g., laptop, iPad, vehicle).
Maintain a call average of 8+ calls per day and 40+ per week with healthcare providers, focusing on top target customers.
Enter calls in Veeva System via iPad and respond to email daily.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required; life science major preferred but not required.
1 year or more of successful outside sales experience; life science industry preferred but not required.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
