As an
SEO Manager
at Fusion92, you will lead and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to maximize client visibility and search engine ranking. You will conduct thorough keyword research, on-page optimization, and off-page link-building activities, as well as emerging areas like optimization for ranking within Large Language Models (LLMs). Your role will involve analyzing website performance, preparing performance reports, and providing actionable insights to clients. Location: Candidates must be located in Illinois, Texas, Colorado, or Michigan. For individuals based in Michigan and Illinois, this will be a hybrid role, requiring both in-office and remote work. For candidates in Texas and Colorado, this position will be fully remote. Responsibilities
Learn our SEO processes and combine them with your existing SEO knowledge. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the current state of SEO across technical SEO, on-page/content optimization, inbound-linking & authority development. Manage client relationships to create long-term strategic consulting partnerships. Analyze keyword research to align findings with client business objectives. Audit client websites, competitors, and search engine results to identify organic opportunities. Work with SEO specialists to leverage analytics and keyword research to develop, manage, and evolve quarterly and yearly SEO strategy roadmaps. Prepare and deliver in-depth SEO analysis presentations around competitors, content gaps, and linking to inform SEO strategies. Execute a range of on-site, off-site, and technical SEO tasks including, but not limited to: optimizing existing or developing new content; performing regular technical SEO audits and providing recommendations to web developers for resolving issues. Creating 301 redirect maps, SEO maps for keyword targeting, and optimizations around metadata and URLs. Creating Schema markup and identifying opportunities for internal linking. Building and executing link-building strategies to enhance off-page SEO. Prepare and present client reports that identify insights and trends and provide proactive recommendations for overall organic performance, algorithm changes, and other competitive activity. Requirements / Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
2-4 years of SEO experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Thrive in an environment where you are able to have autonomy, take ownership, and demonstrate leadership. A full, complete understanding of SEO, search engine algorithms, how SEO works, and how marketers can influence search results via on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO strategies. Ability to illustrate SEO success and value to clients through reporting on web analytics, rankings, and other SEO KPIs. Proof of innovation — we hire innovative thinkers. You need a history of innovation to work at Fusion92. Experience working with and communicating with clients. Excellent data and analysis skills, strong in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Excel. Understanding of SEO tools and platforms such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, and Ahrefs. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and website structures, with deep expertise in Technical SEO. Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to simplify complex strategies and topics and present them to clients. Expertise in completing keyword research and competitive analysis.
