Overview
The Senior Principal Architect is the senior-most technology authority in the organization, shaping the enterprise technology vision and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. This role oversees Enterprise, Solution, and Security Architecture, working closely with delivery managers, engineers, and technical leaders. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on engineer, capable of mentoring teams and translating complex technology into actionable plans. Responsibilities
Architectural Strategy
– Define and evolve enterprise architecture across application, data, integration, cloud, and security domains. Enterprise & Solution Architecture
– Build blueprints, oversee solution design, and ensure alignment with product and business outcomes. Application Security
– Lead secure design practices, authentication/authorization standards, and vulnerability mitigation. Engineering Alignment
– Partner with delivery teams to apply architectural guidance, drive technical excellence, and support modernization. Mentorship
– Coach architects and engineers, build technical leadership capabilities, and nurture future talent. Governance & Collaboration
– Establish architecture forums, align with cross-functional leaders, and influence executive decisions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years in software engineering/architecture with increasing leadership scope. Expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud (Azure), microservices, APIs, and DevSecOps. Strong communicator and mentor with experience across application, data, security, and infrastructure domains. Proven track record connecting technical strategy to measurable business value. Additional Details
