GoFundMe is searching for a passionate and driven Staff Product Manager to incubate and launch a brand new AI-powered SaaS product. This high impact role offers exposure to hundreds of thousands of organizations and modern AI stacks. The ideal candidate has successful experience as a tech startup founder or a proven track record launching zero-to-one businesses at larger companies. This is a high profile role with a large scope and high visibility in the market. Candidates considered for this role will be located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations of 2-3 days per week. Responsibilities
Develop and drive product and growth strategy for a new AI-powered product, aligned with the company’s vision and growth objectives. Lead the full product development lifecycle from conception to launch, collaborating with engineering, design, legal, finance and marketing teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Own the product roadmap and prioritize features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Conduct deep market and user research to understand the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and customer needs, shaping the product to meet market demands. Work closely with stakeholders across legal, compliance, and finance to ensure the product meets regulatory and risk management requirements. Define and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and use data-driven insights to iterate, improve, and optimize the user experience. Own the product launch and drive go-to-market strategy in collaboration with marketing and growth teams, ensuring a successful launch and scaling post-launch. Requirements / Qualifications
Have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in product management with progressively increasing responsibility and proven scale. Have 0-1 product-building experience as a founder of a B2B or B2B2C startup (reaching meaningful traction) or have incubated and launched a SaaS product from scratch within a larger company. Experience with LLMs, AI or deep learning products is a major plus. MBA from a top school and/or management consulting experience at a top firm are a major plus. Demonstrated leadership experience, managing complex product roadmaps and collaborating with multiple departments to bring innovative products to life. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable product plans that resonate with cross-functional teams. Comfort with fast-paced, ambiguous environments and the ability to drive clarity and focus on what matters. Data-driven with a track record of using key metrics to guide product iterations and decision-making.
