Design, build, operate and optimize ByteDance's global network, including backbone, data center, public cloud and Edge/CDN. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compute, storage, database, and the recommendation system to drive the innovation and evolution of ByteDance's network. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Good network knowledge, such as OSI and TCP/IP model. Basic understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS and BGP. Understanding of basic public cloud concepts. Hands-on experience with network devices, such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper, etc. Self-motivated, good communication and written skills. Preferred Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of public cloud architecture, such as AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI, etc. Familiar with mainstream commercial switch/router chipsets, such as Broadcom, Barefoot, etc. Good understanding of IPv6 and IPv4-IPv6 co-existence technologies. Programming/scripting in Python or other languages.
