In this role, you will design and build innovative healthcare connectivity solutions that empower clinicians with real-time, actionable insights. Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust applications and APIs that integrate seamlessly with EHRs and clinical systems, leveraging modern cloud platforms and healthcare standards. Design and build full-stack healthcare connectivity solutions, including frontend components and backend services. Develop and maintain APIs and tools that integrate with EHRs and other clinical systems. Work cross-functionally with clinical, product, and integration teams to understand and translate workflow requirements into reliable software solutions. Implement, test, and deploy applications in cloud environments (GCP and AWS). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to healthcare system connectivity and patient data flows. Contribute to interface design and message handling using modern healthcare standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR). Required Qualifications
3+ years of full-stack software development experience. Proficient in Python and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar). Experience with GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms. Prior work building custom healthcare applications involving clinical workflows or patient data connectivity. Familiarity with EHR APIs, HL7/FHIR, or other healthcare messaging protocols. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Salary range:
CHI: $110,000-$160,000 . The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from California and may vary for other locations (Colorado, Illinois, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
