Overview
Family Partner role at Seneca Family of Agencies. This position provides peer support to family members of clients receiving Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe). The Family Partner coordinates parent support activities and resources, engages family members in the process, and assists in achieving care plan goals as part of the supporting team. Note:
Now a $1000 sign-on bonus is offered. Responsibilities
Provide non-judgmental, unconditional support to children and families participating in WISe Act as a member of the Child and Family Team (CFT), serving as the designated individual support person to the parent or identified family member Assist with coordinating and providing transportation for school, therapy, court hearings, or other pertinent treatment appointments/activities Work in coordination with primary caregiver, Care Coordinators, Clinicians, Youth Partners, and other supports identified by the client; participate in all CFT functions, including planning meetings and helping design treatment plans, writing quarterly reports, and other casework duties as needed Submit incident reports and other necessary documentation in a timely and complete manner Participate in supervision with the Family Partner Supervisor Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork (e.g., mental health notes, time sheets, petty cash, mileage) in a timely manner Commit to and engage in self-evaluation as well as organizational goals, strategies, and systemic practices regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion Qualifications
REQUIRED Lived experience parenting a child who has received mental or behavioral health treatment; OR involvement with cross-system involvement (Juvenile Justice; Mental and/or Behavioral Health treatment; Special Education; Substance Use Disorder Treatment) - Required Minimum 21 years of age High school diploma/GED Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other state or federal requirements Own vehicle; Valid Washington Driver's License and insurability by Seneca's automobile insurance carrier Preferred Previous paid or unpaid experience working with youth and families strongly preferred Skills Of An Ideal Candidate
Proficient in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and fostering teamwork across diverse populations Strong writing and organizational skills Interest in working with youth and families Schedule
Full-time 9:00 am - 5:30 pm or 10:00 am - 6:30 pm Must maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and occasional weekend work as needed Must be comfortable driving and transporting clients and families as needed Benefits
