Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Beaudin Construction . On-site role based in Portland metro area, Clackamas, OR, and surrounding project locations. Full-Time, Exempt. Compensation range: $100,000-$150,000+ per year, based on experience. Beaudin Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction to lead large-scale project operations with a focus on excellence, leadership, and execution. This senior-level position oversees delivery of complex commercial and multi-family projects, coordinating with teams, subcontractors, and clients. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and excels at leading, delegating, problem-solving, and driving results from project kickoff through closeout. Key Responsibilities Oversee all project administrative operations from project kickoff to final closeout Manage the project budget, approve subcontractor billings, and review job cost reports Evaluate and qualify subcontractor and supplier bids, draft subcontracts and detailed scopes of work to buy out all trade packages Collaborate with Superintendents, Project Assistants, and Senior Leadership Manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals; complete takeoffs as needed and ensure subcontractor pricing is accurate and fair Conduct regular OAC meetings and present progress to project stakeholders Inspect the jobsite regularly to ensure progress, accuracy, and completeness of work Address project or subcontractor deficiencies and proactively solve problems Participate in team production meetings and report status to company leadership Maintain detailed and accurate job records in company cloud-based project management software and document management systems Implement project kickoff and closeout procedures Support the Superintendent in implementing Total Quality Management program Manage construction documents and distribution to all involved parties Maintain confidentiality of company proprietary information
Qualifications
5+ years (10+ preferred) of experience managing large commercial or multi-family construction projects Proven track record managing multiple $10M-$100M projects from start to finish Proven ability to lead teams, delegate effectively, and ensure tasks are completed Strong organizational and documentation skills Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and project schedules Excellent professionalism, communication, and project management skills Extensive experience coordinating with project stakeholders, clients, and inspectors Highly proficient in construction project management software and document platforms Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; field experience in lieu of formal education accepted A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws
