Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall sales (professional and retail), operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control of the location.
Oversees the daily operations of the location. Skilled in relevant functions and reports from the Online system.
Oversees the development and implementation of inventory control programs to meet location inventory levels and turns.
Involved in the recruiting, hiring, and training process. Helps to create and enforce staffing measures that reduce employee turnover and help to increase company profits.
Motivates employees, maintains a productive workforce, and trains successor management. Reviews and approves wage and salary increases and establishes objectives and performance measures.
Recommends capital improvements in view of forecasted demand for various products, efficiency of current equipment, etc. Institutes a cost-effective vehicle and equipment maintenance program. Reports obsolete equipment/facilities and submits recommendations regarding replacements or improvements.
Supports and reinforces company safety initiatives to ensure compliance with all OSHA and DOT requirements.
Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures, as well as Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, as they pertain to the daily functions of all departments. Acts as a liaison between employees and management to foster a healthy work environment.
Obtains feedback on customer satisfaction.
Responsible for budget accountability and reporting as it pertains to the financial goals of the company. Works to establish standard cost, operating budgets, and acceptable inventory levels. Monitors expenses and creates new methods to improve each location's financial performance.

Supervisory Responsibilities Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise in various departments. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university;
Four years of related managerial experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Must have prior experience in the building materials industry.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
