Overview

Manufacturing (MES) Business Systems Analyst — contract position, on-site in Sunnyvale, CA. The role supports the customer's business needs related to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions. Responsibilities

Directly participate in the analysis, configuration, modification, and implementation of IT Business Systems Communicate effectively to identify, communicate, and resolve system issues to maximize IT system benefits Analyze existing business processes and requests, and recommend solutions using system standards and best practices Analyze system specifications and configurations and develop appropriate documentation Create detailed specifications and process flows to guide application developers Perform solution design, requirements definition, functional design, testing, prototyping, and implementation of IT solutions Support, assist, and train users on new configurations, highlighting impacts on business processes Maintain IT business system integrity, upgrade records, changes, and user updates Debug system-level code of business applications Provide production support for Systems Manufacturing, including some after-hours and weekend support Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems; MS or MBA is a plus 3–5 years of Business Systems Analysis experience, preferably in a government-regulated industry Experience developing and maintaining MES solutions (preferably DELMIA Apriso) Experience gathering requirements from end users and creating functional design specifications Experience integrating with ERP (SAP), PLM (Agile), CRM Ability to manage IT projects from conception to implementation Experience with MS SQL and SQL Server Management Studio Experience with multi-node server architectures Experience with long-form data types (XML, JSON) Front-end development experience with JavaScript and CSS is a plus Experience with Tableau, SSRS, or related reporting tools is a plus Experience with hardware/tool integration (e.g., digital torque tools) is a plus Experience with Altova MapForce software is a plus Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or above is a plus Knowledge or experience with Snowflake is a plus Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision Proficiency with MS Office tools and familiarity with SDLC Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience working with remote teams Benefits
