Leidos is seeking a passionate and talented
Full Stack Developer
to enhance our dynamic team. Work alongside aerospace engineers, computer scientists, research scientists, and statisticians in tackling complex aerospace and defense challenges. You will contribute to developing software applications that empower real-world operators to effectively manage mission-critical tasks, especially in high-pressure environments. In this crucial role, you'll support existing software applications and lead new web-based application development to meet growing program needs. Your responsibilities will include designing and enhancing user-facing applications using popular front-end frameworks like Vue.js, and building and maintaining back-end services ensuring seamless communication with our proprietary decision-making framework. Core Responsibilities: Design and develop user-friendly applications. Implement front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Build and maintain backend services, including RESTful APIs with Python Flask. Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient deployment. Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3 to 10 years of relevant web development experience. Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience with source control technologies (Git, Gitlab). Hands-on experience in a Linux environment. Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in teams. Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, vitest).
