Responsibilities and Outcomes
Achieves Financial and Compliance Results
– Oversight and development of multi-year category strategies and annual sourcing plan development for IFM within a major financial services client account, actively managing that plan with the business, and executing against it. Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk. Own sourcing compliance and controls. Identify and share opportunities for improvement with appropriate functional leaders. Ensure all sourcing technology tools are leveraged across account. Partner with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and follow up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes. Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier’s performance, sourcing effectiveness and communicate these results to the business. Develop and Lead High Performing Teams
– Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership. Create high-performing, integrated IFM sourcing team that is committed to delivering sustainable global operational excellence. Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress and developmental goals including analysing strengths, and areas of opportunity for growth into actionable career development plans. Actively participate in talent supply/demand by networking, mentoring, and sharing internal and external candidates. As an S&P leader, foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture within and outside of direct reports. Establishes and Nurtures Strong Relationships
– Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plan is implemented and aligned with necessary objectives. Lead and participate in client meetings/strategy sessions. Establish and maintain relationships within client relationship as well as on account team, including but not limited to Account Director, FM Lead, Operations Lead and Finance Director. Provide strategic vision for all S&P aspects of business including best practices and innovation. Effectively develop and lead complex short-term and longer-term sourcing strategies, effectively manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best in class performance across the account. Establish relationships with key stakeholders including Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management. Continually manage/assess suppliers through the established supplier performance management program. Leadership Competencies
– Influential leadership, collaborative approach, company and industry knowledge, communication and presentation skills, client centric mindset, negotiation skills, transformational leadership, and strategic/critical thinking. 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories related to facilities services highly desired along with people management experience. Bachelor’s Degree – Business or Supply Chain Management preferred. MBA, a plus CPM, CPSM or CPSD certification preferred. Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Excel, Word & PowerPoint E-procurement experience, preferably Jaggaer. Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25% or 1 week a month) Ability to work remotely (i.e. home office), including on-site at client locations Compensation and Location
Estimated total compensation for this position: 15,000.00 – 160,000.00 USD per year. The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
