Role Overview:
The company is seeking an
AI Research Engineer
with strong expertise in
deep learning, reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and computer vision . The ideal candidate will not only design novel models for robotic autonomy but will also take ownership of
optimizing machine learning pipelines
- from large-scale training to real-world deployment. This role sits at the intersection of research and engineering, with a focus on making advanced AI systems practical, scalable, and reliable in mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, train, and evaluate advanced
vision-language-action (VLA)
models for robotic systems.
Architect and optimize scalable ML pipelines for multimodal model fusion, continual learning, and domain adaptation.
Develop robust capabilities for
dynamic memory, communication, and tool use
within AI agents.
Translate cutting-edge research into
deployable, real-time perception and decision-making systems .
Collaborate with engineering, robotics, and product teams to integrate optimized ML workflows into onboard autonomy.
Build and maintain codebases supporting training, large-scale simulation, and real-world inference.
Conduct rigorous benchmarking of performance across diverse, unstructured environments.
Track, digest, and apply breakthroughs in
VLMs, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and autonomous agents .
Support field trials to validate models under real-world constraints.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related field;
MS/PhD preferred .
2+ years of hands-on experience
developing and deploying AI models in robotics, autonomous systems, or real-time applications.
Extensive experience
designing, scaling, and optimizing ML pipelines .
Strong expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and imitation learning.
Solid background in
computer vision
and multimodal architectures (e.g., VLMs, transformers, embodied agents).
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow; bonus for JAX, CUDA, or real-time inference experience.
Knowledge of distributed training, fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning techniques.
