As an unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. You will communicate clearly and professionally, responding to situations as they arise and supporting the overall mission of the site. Position Type:

$23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM Sat 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM Responsibilities
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments may vary by site Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions as needed Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols Qualifications
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements A Guard Card is preferred Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Benefits
