Job Summary and Qualifications The Trauma Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator collaborates with trauma leadership to handle all elements of the department's Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Program. You will review care processes to ensure adherence to practice guidelines, policies, and standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing, implementing, and assessing the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Plan. Maintain the Trauma PI database, ensuring documentation meets regulatory agency requirements. Conduct concurrent case reviews to monitor quality and systems of care compliance with state standards. Participate in educational programs for nurses and resident physicians caring for trauma patients. Act as a liaison for clinical areas involved with trauma patients. Coordinate monthly meetings for the Trauma Systems & Operations Committee and Peer Review. Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred. License:

Must be licensed as a registered nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Experience:

Minimum three years of clinical experience required; proficiency with spreadsheets and databases preferred. Certification:
