seeks a
Food & Beverage Concessions Supervisor
to oversee the serving of guests in the venue dining areas / concessions. The supervisor must be personable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will assist the Food & Beverage Managers with projects including training, inventory and special events.
This position will remain open until October 31, 2025.
Hourly rate:
$25.00 - $30.00 .

It hosts some of the world’s largest conventions, meetings, and trade shows, welcoming approximately 3 million visitors to Chicago every year.
Responsibilities
Provides event support for F&B during high-volume shows. Supervises Food & Beverage departments inclusive of stewarding, culinary, beverage, restaurant and banquets operations during events to ensure client satisfaction and quality control standards.
Supervises and provides direction to hourly union F&B staff.
Demonstrates ability to work with Micros software, validate and enter voids, and make POS adjustments as necessary.
Maintains inventory controls and ensures food quality meets company standards; ensures proper orders for the next day are completed.
Performs spot checks of inventory and verifies BEO deliveries for accuracy.
Inspects food service facilities to ensure equipment and building meet state, local health laws and internal regulations.
Directs union department leads in maintaining cleanliness of outlets, staff performance, and completion of assigned tasks; assists with scheduling breaks and return times.
Greet and assist customers; communicate employee and customer issues to management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Sales or related field.
Food knowledge (menu items, service types, equipment, and logistics).
Must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Prior experience in a union environment.
Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); strong analytical thinker.
Must be flexible with scheduling, able to respond quickly, professionally, and resourcefully to issues.
