All customers, regardless of Prime membership, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy more content with ads. Responsibilities
As an Applied Scientist at Prime Video, you will own the product, related research, and experimentation, applying advanced machine learning techniques in computer vision (CV), Generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), multimedia understanding, and related areas. Youll work on projects that enhance Prime Videos content localization, content generation, image/video understanding, and content personalization, driving innovations for a global audience. Other responsibilities include: Lead research in computer vision and natural language processing, applying it to video-centric media challenges. Develop scalable machine learning models to enhance media asset generation, content discovery, and personalization. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production systems at scale, ensuring performance and reliability. Actively publish research in leading conferences and journals. Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML advancements to drive future research initiatives. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience building models for business applications. PhD, or Masters degree with 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience. Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related language. Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with generative deep learning models for synthetic humans (e.g., CNNs, GANs, VAEs, NF). Experience with patents or publications at top-tier conferences or journals.
