What you will do
Coordinate and manage the operational side of customer programs Work with one of the industry’s strongest mixed reality teams to advance MR on the frontlines and beyond Drive prototyping initiatives to experiment with revolutionary MR concepts that set new industry standards Act as the technical advisor and visionary for a business line integral to Anduril’s success Design, develop, and enhance game engine components tailored for mixed reality applications Optimize rendering pipelines, physics simulations, and real-time interactions for high-performance immersive experiences Collaborate with AR/VR specialists to integrate MR sensors, displays, and spatial mapping capabilities Implement robust pipelines that transform raw sensor data into immersive visuals for warfighters Partner with product managers, hardware engineers, and warfighter subject matter experts to translate mission requirements into practical, scalable solutions Mentor team members and foster best practices in code quality, performance testing, and game engineering architecture Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and frameworks within the game engine ecosystem Required qualifications
10+ years of experience in game development, computer graphics, or real-time simulation Strong proficiency in C++ or C# and familiarity with graphics APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, or Vulkan) Experience with shader programming and multi-threaded rendering pipelines Experience working in large codebases to solve complex problems in days/weeks, not months A track record of success in the gaming industry, with shipped code in days/weeks, not years Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders and executive leaders Preferred qualifications
AR/VR experience and DoD/Army familiarity is a plus Shipped at least one AAA game title in a similar role Understanding of immersive technologies and sensor integration is beneficial Demonstrated experience or strong interest in developing MR or simulation applications US Salary Range $228,000 - $342,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience, education, critical skills, and business considerations. Equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers as part of Anduril’s total compensation package.
