Overview
ProMach is seeking a strategic and hands-on Data Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade data platforms. This role will shape the future of scalable data architecture, powering analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency across diverse business units. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise in Databricks, relational databases, ERP/CRM systems, data modeling, data migration, and building and maintaining complex data pipelines. Experience integrating and modeling data from platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and SyteLine is critical.

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data architectures across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
Lead data integration efforts from multiple enterprise systems, including ERP (SAP, Oracle, SyteLine) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
Develop and optimize robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using distributed data processing and orchestration frameworks.
Lead large-scale data migration projects ensuring integrity, lineage, and minimal business disruption.
Design and maintain logical and physical data models for both transactional and analytical use cases (e.g., star schema, normalized forms).
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to operationalize and enhance data solutions that meet business goals.
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of data workflows and storage through best practices in indexing, partitioning, and caching.
Champion data quality, governance, and metadata management across enterprise reporting and analytics ecosystems.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams and advocate for modern data practices and tools.
Monitor evolving trends and emerging technologies in data architecture to drive innovation and modernization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles with a demonstrated hands-on approach.
Hands-on experience with Databricks, including building data pipelines, working with Delta Lake, and leveraging Spark-based transformations.
Proficiency with relational database development (e.g., T-SQL, schema design, indexing) across platforms such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Strong experience integrating and modeling data from ERP and CRM systems, including SAP, Oracle, SyteLine, and Salesforce.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, analysis, and automation.
Experience building robust ETL/ELT processes and supporting data migrations at scale.
Solid understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data security best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred:
Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog or other enterprise data cataloging solutions.
Knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming architectures.
Familiarity with business intelligence platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
Understanding of manufacturing, financial, and supply chain data domains.
Experience with CI/CD practices, infrastructure automation, and DevOps for data solutions.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
