Overview

A Field Technician handles on-site servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and installations for Condairs products and equipment. This includes humidification equipment, dehumidification equipment, PLC controls, control systems, and more. Field Technicians may work on-site at factories, manufacturing plants, construction sites, and other locations as required. Field Technicians maintain records of each service and report them as service reports and expense reports to the office/supervisors. Key Duties and Responsibilities

Install humidification, dehumidification, and water treatment systems according to specifications. Maintain and repair existing equipment using factory procedures. Weekly nationwide travel is required; projected to a maximum of 80% of the time. Troubleshoot systems independently, without supervision. Operate and maintain inventory for company owned service vehicles. Process paperwork upon completion of each job and submit in a timely manner. Process and submit expense reports in accordance with financial accounting staff, in a timely manner. Provide extensive knowledge/experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Working knowledge and experience in administering high quality preventative maintenance. Proven customer-focused service including high-level communications regarding services performed. Ability to write reports/logs and effectively present information. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardizations. Read, understand, and work from specifications, schematics, and building blueprints. Business travel as required (anticipated travel 5% of the time) both internationally and within North America. Adhere to the companys Quality Assurance System and Health and Safety policies. Other duties as assigned by management. Professional Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies

Education and Experience: University degree or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) preferred. Geographic Location: Must live in the Boston, MA area. Language Skills: Fluent in English (reading, writing, spoken) required. Ability to convey and receive instructions clearly in person, over the phone, or via email. Spanish is a plus. Ability to Reason: Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects. Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Capture and complete information for work orders and reports in Service Fusion. Certificates/Licenses: Valid drivers license, valid passport, and ability to travel domestically and internationally. Other: Excellent organization skills. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing experience are assets. Able to work extended shifts. Personal Characteristics

Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; lift up to 25 lbs overhead unassisted. Regularly use a computer workstation. Frequent travel by car or plane to job sites. Strength to assemble equipment and fittings in the field. Work Environment

Work environment may include a regulated or unregulated indoor climate, variations in outdoor climate, labs and clean rooms, high-security facilities, and travel to various locations including airports and other points of travel domestically or internationally. Benefits
