Our clients enter a market through acquisition, hire a leader to champion growth (the General Manager), and rapidly scale the local market. As the market grows, they seek other local complementary businesses to add under the GM. The goal is for the GM to grow into the market leader responsible for multiple companies. This PE client is a top-decile fund with a long history of investments in professional, residential, and tech services. The specific holding company is an investment from its 9th fund, focused on acquiring and growing residential home services companies, with ~$4.5B of committed capital. Company revenue has grown from $0 to $400M in 12 months. The leadership team includes experienced PE operators and veterans with strong leadership and execution abilities (e.g., leaders from Special Forces, Ranger Regiment, the nuclear Navy, USMC Infantry, and MARSOC). This is an opportunity to be a General Manager at one of the companys partner brands. The GM will oversee all aspects of a locations day-to-day operations and drive growth, performance metrics, culture, and staff development to become a world-class operator. You will own the full operating P&L for a specific geography in the continental US and drive organic growth, supported by regional presidents, partner services teams at the holding company level, and adjacent business CEOs. Responsibilities will include: Successful integration of tuck-in acquisitions in your market area Hiring and managing business leaders within your company Partnering with peer CEOs to share best practices across the platform Collaborating with peers and leadership to disseminate best practices Qualifications
