An established multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead complex electrical systems design for major facilities in sectors such as corporate, higher education, and performing arts. This is a strategic role that combines technical leadership with project management and mentorship. Base pay range
$125,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems on high-profile projects across various sectors Manage project teams to ensure technical excellence, code compliance, and timely execution Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop integrated and innovative design solutions Provide oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff Review and prepare electrical documentation, cost estimates, and engineering calculations Address and resolve complex design issues, including code interpretation and system conflicts Participate in site investigations, troubleshooting, and existing condition documentation Support project planning including scope definition, staffing needs, and budgeting Qualifications
Bachelor7s or Master degree in Electrical Engineering 15+ years of experience designing complex building systems Professional Engineer (PE) license required Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (NFPA, IECC, ASHRAE, LEED) Proficient in Revit; experience with SKM or Easy Power preferred Prior work in an engineering or architecture/engineering firm environment Seniority level
