LEAGUE MANAGER - BOSTON
Brodie League is more than a basketball league — it's a movement. As League Manager for Boston, you are the frontline operator, hype conductor, and culture protector. You’ll lead game nights from the floor, run pre-game syncs, manage refs and gym logistics, and deliver an experience so smooth and electric that athletes never want to leave.

Responsibilities
Lead pre-game staff meetings and set the tone for execution
Oversee all gym logistics: setup, check-in, scorekeepers, ref assignments, breakdown
Ensure every player is in uniform, on time, and part of the story
Handle on-the-spot issues with calm, fast decision-making
Submit nightly Ops Recaps (wins, gaps, attendance, incidents)
Growth and Retention
Own player retention targets across your region — know who's returning and why
Track athlete satisfaction and surface feedback to improve the experience
Identify ops improvements and turn ideas into system upgrades
Proactively support free agent placement, team formation, and league-night sellouts
Drive season-over-season growth in each city through operational excellence and culture reinforcement
Greet and support new players, captains, and teams
Maintain energy and culture flow throughout the night
Uphold rituals, national activations, and theme rollouts at the local level
Work alongside:
Community Manager (free agents, player love, social energy)
Content Lead (reels, media, local social presence)
Coordinate real-time feedback to improve nightly operations and storytelling
Requirements
Leadership experience in event ops, logistics, or sports leagues
Calm under pressure - you handle fires without breaking a sweat
Clear communicator with strong team management skills
Detail-obsessed and emotionally intelligent
Basketball fluency is a bonus - but being a killer operator is essential
Compensation $25/hour
